This spade is suitable for heavy digging and turning over soil. It has a heat-treated carbon steel head with a hammer-tone finish and epoxy coating for resistance against rust, scratches, moisture and soil alkalis. The shaft is made of weather-resistant clear-varnished ash wood and features an integrated ergonomic forward-tilt handle with a polypropylene D-grip.
