The Beurer BM 53 blood pressure monitor measures blood pressure and pulse automatically on the upper arm. It features arrhythmia detection to identify irregular heartbeats and atrial fibrillation. A risk indicator classifies results using a colour-coded scale, while the rest indicator ensures measurements are taken during sufficient circulatory rest. This clinically validated device performs a triple measurement for accuracy and is suitable for use during pregnancy. It includes an XL backlit display, two user memories for 100 readings each, and calculates 7-day averages. The cuff fits upper arm circumferences between 22 and 42 cm.
